I appreciate your opinion and let me tell you that they’re valid to some extent.

The exercise of discretion solely resides in the authority reserved for those who can exercise the implementation of the laws.

For me, I apply discretion because I believe that each of us is capable to change.

I can choose to do away with it entirely and do the easy way…the way of the book.

But if you notice, I don’t go the easy way because I know that each of you is inherently capable of doing what’s good.

What’s good may not always be the convenient thing to do though.

I have always believe in the goodness of man that’s why when they commit mistakes, I take time to know why, how and what we can do together to improve.

I value you more than I value the technicalities of my position.

But I can only do so much. I have a responsibility to those who chose me for this position and I don’t want to disappoint them for so long as they’re within bounds.

I think the management has been patient to withhold those warnings/NTEs but it has been abused to a level that we need to take action to correct those who err.

I sure hope that the perception of us trying to scrutinize everyone in order to terminate does not cloud your security of tenure and your overall disposition with the company.

We don’t want to terminate people…people who deserve to be kept.

However, if we see someone who just can’t cooperate with us then perhaps this is not where he/she belongs.

Lastly, as far as agent’s resigning, we regret that they do and we are asking questions like “Why are they resigning?”, “What can we do to encourage them to stay?” etc.

We are doing what we can to address the issue but for the most part, we leave it up to the top management to act on this issue.

things to ponder...

if somebody did something wrong it has be to attended directly

if rules were set to be implemented properly on the rightful time everybody will be vigilant

thus there wont be any renegades

if rules were made to rule everybody else and nobody is above, how come there are demarkation lines between sups-sup sup-agent agent-agent

if its above everybody how come there are irrational authority and a lowly subordinate classification

and most of the time its the lowly agent who suffers the incompetence of the authorities to carry on with their responsibilities

all of the times that authorities would say that they are going to let it pass...and would not sanction the agent...

i don't see it as a favor but its tolerating disobedience of the law, in the long run who suffers much?

is it the sups or tms?i don't think so....

is this how were supposed to be build up, is this the way were suppose to be treated and threatened?

eventually this will create a domino effect, agents down, business down,,,

aint that amazing something very lethal and drastic from whom the admin disregards and "don't care if they resign"....

Guys,

I just happened to catch some emails about all these warnings/nte being “rampantly” issued nowadays.

Here’s my two cents on the issue.

All of us are aware that we are bounded by several set of guidelines while we tenure here.

We have our bible…the Revised Employee Handbook, which details our privileges and limits our boundaries.

Wherever we go, there are rules that we are empowered and bounded with.

If someone offends us, we are protected with the same bible.

It works the same for us so that if we offend or violate any of its provisions, we get sanctioned.

Warnings and NTEs are disciplinary measures deemed to curb behavior.

NO ONE IS ABOVE IT, ideally. However, there are times when discretion is allowed to intervene.

These instances are carefully evaluated before discretion may apply.

It is our responsibility to ensure justice/fairness in all that we do, after all, it’s the reason why we have laws.

Yes, there was quite a long time of tolerance in imposing some of the disciplinary actions on rampant violations.

There were diplomatic talks to address those issues but tolerance can only go as far.

If positive change is not evident, something has to be done…we go by the book.

There are probably factors influencing these unwanted behaviors but the fact remains that they’re UNWANTED.

NTEs are your opportunity to due process. It is where you can express your side of the story and thus shall be justly sanctioned.

Personally, though issuance of warnings/NTEs can be perceived negatively but I believe that it serves a good purpose if one has to be rational about it.

There are behaviors that need to be corrected and it should not be taken personally because warnings/NTEs are not directed to the person but rather, to the behavior.

If one can justify his/her behavior, he/she shouldn’t be withheld of justice and vice versa.

Hence my advise, know what you CAN DO and what you CANNOT DO…”Ignorance of the law excuses no ONE!” J

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

how do you see this statement?
is this a reaffirmation of the need for men to be naturally good despite of the fact that it is imposing pressure on her side?
or a restatement for one to be numb and stupid?and just forsake her personal feelings and keep her pesonal impressions to herself?

either way let me speak my heart on the situation and that belief.

men in general and naturally are kind but there are instances where in those are violated, those occurences are supported by reasons and let make me point this out not alibis!

there had been countless times when i've been a real friend, whether someone needs my help or not i would always come to somebody's aid.

but there had been many instances as well when people would rely on me and demand a lot even if they are not my responsibility,

well guess what here's what i have to say...
